Data Policy – ITE International Security Division
This data policy is designed to tell you about the way in which data is used by the International Security Division of ITE Group Plc - London office (“the division”). It enables you to make an informed decision about submitting your personal data to the division.

The Data we Collect
When you submit your details online, the division only requests information that is useful for communication with you (“you” or the person submitting details “the user”). This may include your name, your job title, the company who you are authorised to represent, the country in which you are based and communication details such as email address, telephone and fax number (“Personal Data”).

Use of Personal Data
The Personal Data supplied to the division is treated with great care and security. It is used to keep you informed about the trade exhibitions and conferences about which you have requested information.

We do not sell, rent or loan data to third parties, except in the case of selling an event or events to another organiser. The only other circumstance under which we would pass data on to carefully selected third party service providers is if you are contracted to participate at one of our events. These third parties are often essential to the smooth running of an event (such as the official event freight-forwarder and travel agent).

We store data collected for as long as required for the uses stated above. In most circumstances, data is deactivated after a period of three years from the latest recorded two-way communication between the division and you.

Unsubscribing or Opting-out
You may request to unsubscribe or opt-out from receiving mailings at any time by emailing unsubscribe@ite-exhibitions.com. Please state the event(s) about which you no longer wish to receive information.

We endeavour to remove you from all relevant mailing lists as promptly as possible. However, there may be a short time during which you may continue to receive mailings whilst your request is being processed.

Online Tracking
The division’s email campaigns and websites are tracked to monitor traffic flows, open rates and click-throughs. These web analytic tools are widely used and the information gathered by the division is utilised for improving the experience and service provided to the user.

Changes to the Data Policy
In order to keep up with legislation and best practice, we may revise the division’s data policy at any time and without notice. You will need to check periodically to be aware of any changes.
